I haven't been very successful in my UK application and I'm thinking of applying to Med school in Ireland and am really excited about it. I just have a few questions that I can't seem to find answers to.
Firstly, funding. How much does it typically cost for a UK student per year? Is there some sort of EU student grant thing I can apply to?
Secondly, I was wondering what the application process was like. I haven't actually signed up to CAO yet (but am planning to tomorrow). Do the universities do interviews and take personal statements like in England?

Any advice or information is gladly appreciated, thanks in advance
    Gerry
