    Hi everyone,

So, I’ve made ge crazy decision that I want to study medicine.
This isn’t a last minute thought but something I’ve been considering for years but have not had the confidence to pursue sit to family commitments.

I do have some issues though! I’m a mature student,27, and I don’t have the requirements needed to access most of the courses.

I’d love some ideas/options from you all as to what my next steps would be. I have GCSE’s all A-C but a BTEC National Diploma in Performing Arts which is the equivalent to three A levels leaving with a DDM. I know this isn’t what universities are looking for but I’m willing to do whatever I need to but only problem is, I don’t know what I have to do.

Any suggestions/help/advice etc is very welcome!

    Hello,

i was in the same situation one year ago. wondering what if i start medschool....i applyed and now i'm in medschool.

The right question is "what if i try to do what makes me happy"....a lifetime with regrets is so so long ;-)
in plus you'll have a maturity, and it'll be very interesting in your internships...so don't think too much and go on ;-)

    where country are you from?

if i may help you, just ask
