    Hello!

Could someone who tried these two books tell me pls which one is more comprehensive and gives you a better understanding of pharmacology?

rang and dale is by far the best pharmacology test book available. There is nothing that you will need to know that is not covered.

From what I understand Golan is better at making the connection between path, phys and pharmacology? Does Rang do that?

It does. It covers everything you will need to know...

Golan is more appealing if you want more of an overview, but it doesn't go into the same depth pharmacologically as rang and dale. Some people prefer that as they can skim it and pass over the basic stuff.... but you asked which was more comprehensive...

Rang and dale is easy to read, you can access it online if you by the print edition also, so you can look into it anywhere...which is handy...and as someone that specialised in pharmacology it is THE only textbook I needed.

Why don't you just go to the library and look at both books and find out which one suits you?
