do leeds still do full body dissections?
Yes they do, they have a pretty well-equipped dissection room holding around 20 cadavers. A lot of the senior anatomy staff have left in the past couple of years though.
Dissection is good at Leeds, and you start in your 2nd term in your first year. Within the first few weeks you will have removed the arms, sawn through the chest wall, taken the lungs out and dissected the heart.
You can also use the dissection room for private study if you arrange it in advance.
