Hi there - pretty self-explanatory title, I think.

I would like to brush up on my A-level Chemistry knowledge. I purchased the Letts study guide a few weeks ago and it is very much a study guide, leaving lots of holes and glossing over many topics too quickly.

Would anyone be able to recommend a decent, solid Chemistry A-level textbook that I can use to bring myself up to speed?

    Many thanks!

I use Advanced Chemistry by Michael Clugston and Rosalind Fleming in addition to the exam board study book. It's quite a large book but explains things really well abd covers pretty much all exam boards.
