Can I suggest that any of you who haven't done so should book a time slot for the UKCAT exam. You can book anytime between now and end of September and can change the date and venue as long as you give at least 48 hours notice with no financial penalty. If you wait until everyone goes back to school in September there might be a mass panic. Some may not get the time slots or venues that they want. You don't want to put additional stress on yourself on the exam day by having to travel to some remote centre.

Just a hint... good luck with it. Glad I don't have to do it!

How many times can we write the UKCAT? When are the dates usually? Their website is going to be up by MARCH. Can we write it in the summer time??

    Hi,

I took ukcat last year and as I was unsuccessful at 4 uni's, I have to reapply. I was told that I have 2 take the ukcat again. Do I have to register again? Or do I book in a slot using my old account. Please help...

    Many thanks,
    Cathy.

I'd imagine you just apply again as if you havent taken it before so there is no bias in the unis seeing that you have taken the exam before.

    Hi,

Is it wise to take ukcat after receiving the exam results on 16th?

I don't think it matters. Unless your A-Level results have some bearing on whether or not you decide to apply for Medicine (and so whether or not you'd waste £60 on a test you've decided you won't need to take) then I don't expect it matters either way.

    Hopeful and many thanks

    Lmao Already booked =),
And yea booking is getting full already. I dragged it out for a few weeks cause my internet was down and the date that i wanted to book was already taken up and i was booking the date 2 weeks in advance.
It was really hard to find a place near me where the exam didn't intersect with school.

Just to stress a point thats already been said, exam dates seem to be going really fast according to some friends of mine who are still waiting to take theirs. Apparently cancellations are fairly available though at the moment but soon they slow down I expect. If you don't book in the next week I expect you may find your forced to go to a test center a long way away just to get an appointment.

Go to the UKCAT website and register, then you should be able to book it through the pearsons venue?!? site where you pay there an then with a cred card and arrange a date / time. Your not late, at all (I think)
