Are you allowed to apply for 4 places for medicine and the remaining 2 for dentistry without the admissions ppl looking at you in a bad way?

According to the copy of the UCAS book that I have at hand (which I appreciate is a bit out of date but probably still relevant), you can only apply to four medical and dental courses - which I took to mean you would have to drop a medical place to add dentistry.

I wouldn't suggest such a course of action though, as you would probably have a tough time convincing either discipline of your commitment. (Universities don't mind you applying to other courses though, such as Biomed etc).
